On behalf of everyone at VTel, I hope that you, your family, and your community are on the road to recovery after the damage caused by Tropical Storm Irene. We count ourselves fortunate both to have weathered the storm and to have your continued business. We worked hard to restore services to many of you and are very proud of the dedication of our technicians and engineers. Even more, we are humbled by the resilience of our VTel communities. There are still many families in need. Therefore, as we enter autumn and celebrate what is usually a time of abundance at many local harvest fairs and festivals, VTel is organizing a food drive benefiting the Vermont Foodbank. The most needed items are proteins - like peanut butter, canned tuna, or canned meats – boxed macaroni and cheese, diapers, and pet food. It is important to note that food donations must be non-perishable. Please look for me and VTel’s WOW vehicle from 1pm – 4pm at these harvest festivals, on the following dates: ° Killington Brewfest ° Fall Festival on the Green ° Vermont Apple Festival & Craft Show ° Belmont Cider Days Or, from now through noon on Monday, October 10th, you can also drop donations off at our Best regards, Sharon Combes-Farr |
