GREENALL CARRIAGE HOUSE

John and Sue Greenall

We are located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, 4 miles from the Green Mountain Horse Association in South Woodstock, Vermont.

Our farm consists of 104 conserved acres where we have Morgan, Arab and cross bred horses, seven cats, two dogs, a goat, a goose and a ferret.  We also house over 25 restored antique carriages which we compete with and enjoy showing to people when they visit.

John Greenall is an American Driving Society (ADS) and United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) driving judge and officiates at both pleasure and combined driving competitions throughout the country.  He also enjoys meeting drivers through clinics and presentations on how to turn out a carriage and horse, introductions to competition and descriptions of the types of vehicles and harness.  John has been involved in the carriage world for over 40 years and has competed or officated at almost every competition in the United States.  In addition, he has traveled internationally to China and Russia on a people to people good will exchange, to France, Spain and the UAE to crew for FEI endurance races, and to Columbia for driving clinics.  John is perhaps best known for his tandem which competed for over a decade at every major driving show in the East.  He has driven single, pair, tandem, unicorn and four-in-hand using many of the carriages in his collection.

Sue Greenall has competed in numerous disciplines including Appaloosas, Quarter Horses, POA's, hunters, pleasure driving, combined driving, competitive trail riding and endurance riding.  She was the 1988 Eastern State Pony Champion at The Fair Hill Combined Driving Event, twice a winner at the Devon Horse Show, two time winner of the Eastern States 100-Mile Championship, top ten at the 2001 Pan American Endurance Championship, has earned a Tevis Cup buckle and was five time Hi-Point Morgan Competive Trail Horse for the American Morgan Horse Club.
