INC....
April 1st marks the transition date when KACS becomes incorporated. But little will change in our business relationship. The same great service you've come to love & expect will continue. There will be no increase in rates. Other than the name, all aspects at the customer end will remain the same.

ONLINE...
KACS, Inc. goes hi-tech ! Customers with a computer, modem and internet service provider can e-mail me at kacs@vermontel.com. Correspondence, reports & pictures are available faster than regular mail, cheaper that phone calls and better than an answering machine. Web surfers can tour my home page at http://vermontel.com/~kacs/kacs.htm

PROJECTS...
Last fall marked the completion of a large scale addition and remodel at the Cascades Lodge. The dining room was doubled and five luxury suites were added. Check out our handiwork next time you are up that way (next to the Mountain Inn). Current project is adapting a home for handicap accessibility. Special accommodations will help Eric Daniels, a young man seriously injured in a fall out West on New Years Eve. The family has been hit with serious financial burdens and KACS, Inc. has kept the remodeling cost very low with donated material and labor.

Property Management Services...

On May 1st, the property management agreements will expire. To have uninterrupted service, please sign and send back the duplicated last page as soon as possible. If you feel you want to cut back or suspend inspections for the summer months, just call or write me. There is no penalty.

Here are the monthly rates: nonce a month $0. once a month $20. twice a month $30. once a week $50.

THE FUTURE (A Commentary)
The past several years have been trying and uncertain ones for many including KACS. With the Northeast still climbing out of the recession that other parts of the country have gotten past, people are still reluctant to invest too heavily in their homes. Many major changes occurred that have affected us all including the Tax Reform Act of 1987, the dramatic growth of the resort & region, the market devaluation in 1991 and the recent proposed merger with LBO. KACS, Inc. has hung in there when other contractors have pulled up stakes and moved on. Nineteen ninety four marked the launch of the Property Management Division. Computers have played a major role in the business increasing efficiency and accuracy. We remain committed to the future of the Killington/Central Vermont region and its community. We also recognize that only by providing outstanding service, consistently high quality and new features will our customers be truly satisfied. Plus I would rather be skiing....

Take care until the next newsletter.
