East Haven Installation
Insights
This Installation sets atop East Haven mountain in the North East
Kingdom of Vermont. Recently residents of this area have been plagued by
a Humming noise/sound/feeling. The major area of Humming has been in the hamlet of
Newark Vermont which this mountain overlooks. The Hum seems to be similar to
the phenomena happening around Taos N.M.
It is interesting that this Installation sets just off the northern
end of a straight line drawn thru the Monuments we are studying. It would
seem that Newark lies on the line. With the short base line that we have
on our *LEY LINE* projection it is possible that our line may go thru this
place.
Some History. This Installation was built by the government in
1958/59 ( note all dates are approximate -- we would like any input that
may refine them ) and functioned under there control until 1967. Its
purpose was to provide early warning of an incoming Russian missile launch
( the cold war days ). Its primary function was a Radar site. At times
there were over 200 people at this place.
As the cold war became warmer and technology became better the site
was decommissioned and used briefly for a college until 1971 or so. The site
was unused for some years until 1980ish. From then until 1992/93 some group
(?) used the site for (?). During that time there were teams of security
people patrolling the site and the only access road ( even in the winter --
which in Vermont was something, as this is a very remote area and winters
here are not mild).
In the last winter or two some Snowmobile traffic was noted and no
security patrols were visible. If any activity is presently going on is
unknown at this time. Now for some pictures taken on the first weekend of
May this year.
This is a picture of the Installation from 4000 feet above and
about 3 miles away.
This is a picture from the south west about 2000 feet out. Notice
what might appear as a human face.
This is a picture from the south east in a little closer. Note that
the face still appears and this picture was taken at an angle about 45
degrees from the last one. Also in this picture the buildings are ROUND
and have FLAT roofs ! This is most unusual in Vermont snow country.
