Rate Changes September 2024

September 2024 Rate Change:

Starting with bills issued September 15, 2024 or after, the following rates changes will go into effect on your VTel bill. While the majority of the changes below relate to Business-class services on the VTel network, some rates, such as Off Premise Extension and Continuous Property Extension pricing will increase on Residential accounts, the latter of which has not seen an increase for the last three years. In some cases, these rate changes are reductions in your monthly bill, as is the case of GigE Pro 250, 500 and 1000, as well as some Pro Double and Triple Play options, for a total of 9 reductions in monthly plans this September. 

This year customers will notice an increase to the Broadcast Fee ($19.95 to $24.95/mo.) relating to VTelevision services. It comes with a heavy heart that we must again increase this fee due to the tremendous costs from broadcasters to provide traditional television service for you. As you may already know, any fees charged are designed to cover basic operational costs, as the majority of TV packages do not make VTel any profit, but are instead made available for your convenience and to provide a good experience for you. Consequently, we strongly recommend keeping our Fiber Internet and/or Phone service and Cutting the Cord by exploring streaming options with our partner MyBundle TV. By choosing a streaming service, you can save 50% or more by choosing free or low cost streaming option through MyBundle TV. 

Please Note: Existing contracted rates will remain unchanged within your current price lock agreement(s); however, in some cases we may re-allocate package components, which may alter the applicable taxes.
